ÚJ LÁTÓHATÁR Literary and Political Review Editors: Gyula Borbándi, József Molnár SUMMARY In this issue Űj Látóhatár publishes the critical essay 'The Reception of a Book' written by József Molnár (Munich). The author reviews the critical reception of the biographical study 'Szabó Dezső' by Gyula Gombos (New York). Dr. András Haynal (Geneva) analyses the works of P. Howard—Rejtő Jenő. The author — a psychoanalist — discusses P. Howard's books from a psychoanalitical point of view. Űj Látóhatár also prints a short=story written by János Csanád (New York) set in the years 1944/45. György Ferdinandy (Strassbourg) contributes an essay on the novelist Zsigmond Remenyik. In this issue the reader also finds Margit Mikes's (New York) poem recalling the tragic days of 1956. We also publish new poems of György Vitéz (Montreal), István Készéi (Toronto), Attila Szilágyi (Munich), Győző Határ (London), and Antal Lökkös (Geneva). We print Miroslav Holub's poem 'Jan Palach, Prague', translated by Endre Zsigmond (Munich). In the documentary section Péter Gosztonyi (Bern) introduces five documents of Béla Miklós, first post war Premier of Hungary. In the 'Review' Tamás Beczner (Munich) deals in his article with Miklós Domahidy's novel (Die Schule des Kneifens). Tibor Hanâk (Vienna) reviews a volume of literary essays written by Miklós Almási (Budapest). György Gömöri (Birmingham) comments on Mihael Bulgakov's two novels, recently published in London. László Arató (Buochs, Switzerland) reviews a book of László Boros S. J. Endre Zsigmond (Munich) deals with a biography of István Széchenyi written by Denis Silagi.

Next
