házy, seconded by Mr. F. Nagy that the report be accepted - motion carried. (This report as well as reports by various groups/activities appear in the Értesitö.) Treasurer's report - copies of the audited financial reports of the Club have been distributed to members) . In the past the late Dr. Л. To'th carried out the audit of our books, as he has apssed away in September, his daughter Miss K.M. Toth havé taken over his business and the auditing of the Club’s financial records. In spite of some quite large cost increases which are out of our control, surlpus increased slightly from $13288 in 1984 to 14291 in 1985. Although around the middle of the year the situation did not look very bright, the New Year's ball which was excellent and some government grants for which the President and other committee members worked very hard, have improved the situation considerably. Available funds have also increased due to the well - planned building programme, which enabled the Club to earn the money required rather than having to borrow it. , As it can be seen from the reports, the Ertesitö is losing around $25C per month in spite of its price being $1-00 per copy. Moved by Dr. Szent-Ivány, seconded by Mr. J. Gyepes that the report be accepted - motion carried. Mrs. G.
