A. Inc. to be held in the main hall of the dub at 82 Osmond Terrace Norwood S.A. on SUNDAY , 27th of February 1994 Commencing at 5.3- p.m. the following Alterations to the Rules of the dub will be proposed and if oonsidedered fit, be adopted by Resolution pursuant to Rule 55 of the (institution : 1. Rule 23 to be amended to read: The committee consisting of twenty ordinary members shall be elected at an Annual General Meeting or Special General Meeting of the dub far a term of one year except the présidait,two vioepresidents, the secretary and the treasurer who shall be elected for a term of three years. Any ordinary member may nominate, or be nominated far election to the committee, provided that nominations shall be forwarded in writing to the secretary at least seven days prior to the meeting held far that purpose. Any such member may be elected by a simple majority of those present at the meeting or by "proxy" (as per Rule 47 amended on 07.03.93) Voting shall be by show of hands unless the President or the Chairman of the meeting otherwise determines. Rule 28 to be amended to read: The Cbramittee shall uphold the right to consider vacant any position held by a committee member who absents himself for three or more committee meetings without special leave of absence from the committee. Any such member shall not be eligible for nomination to the committee at the next Annual General Meeting or Special General Meeting held for the purpose of electing a committee.
