HUNGARIAN OBSERVER Journal of the Hungarian Institute in Melbourne Registered by Australia Post Publication No. VBQ7518 July 1987 Price SI AO 3APTIVE NATIONS MENTALITY' We understand that one of the greatest inlts one Australian public servant can heap on anher, is that the recipient has a 'captive nations entality'. Once a public servant has been so brand- 1, he or she will be isolated, denied promotion and, sofar as possible, prevented from carrying on any sponsible activity. This victimisation of our sons and daughrs is rampant in a society which is widely publici;d as pluralist, democratic, multinational and ulticultural. Of course, nothing could be further om the truth. LOPSIDED PLURALISM Australian society is only 'pluralist' to the itent that it allows and, indeed, actively promotes íe proliferation and spread of all sorts of radical alts, ranging from greenies to self-confessed Reds nd all tending to the left, at the expense of the 'silent lajority' which basically still adheres to the Chrisan traditions which made Australia a great counry - if not in population but certainly in spirit - in he past. This kind of lopsided 'pluralism' has reulted in the growth of virtual archipelagoes of agressive minority groups in our media and also the lublic service which are now attacking other secions of he community who do not conform to their abrrations and attempt to extinguish them. One of the ntended victims are the captive nations or more preisely, their representatives in Australia. GAY LIBERATIONISTS YES ' - CAPTIVE NATIONS 'NO' So it has come about that whilst our Departnent of Immigration treats, at the express direction )f a previous Minister, 'lasting homosexual reladonships' as the equivalent of a valid Christian marriage for the purposes of settlement in Australia and there is an alarming concentration of AIDS victims among the cabin crews of our national flag carrier airline, no such indulgence is extended to adherents of the captive nations, no matter how talented, upright and hardworking they might be. This malaise of Australian society has now become so standard and acceptable - thanks to persistent indoctrination by the media - that no one raises as much as an eyebrow at its sight. The glorification of homosexuality — a morbid feature of our social fabric in our view — is however, only one example of the pernicious spread of many weird notions and ideas which permeate Australian society today and go virtually unnoticed and certainly unopposed, whilst the captive nations are singled out as an object of contempt and ridicule. THE DEATH WISH OF A SOCIETY If we recall what Australia was like when we came here nearly forty years ago, we remember an honest, straightforward nation where Christian values, loyalty to to the country and devotion to family life still reigned supreme and were the guiding principles of most members of the community. Since that time, however, there has been a systematic and deliberate dismantling of this traditional Australia by the very same minority groups which claim 'rights' and even domination over the majority of decent Australians in the name of their kind of 'pluralism' but raise loud protests when the captive nations humbly seek a modicum of the same liberties which they enjoy. As the direct result of the activities of these vocal minority groups, much that has been good and worthy of admiration in Australian society, has already disappeared or is rapidly vanishing and its place is being taken by evil cults which will of necessity lead to the collapse of Australia from within, even without any attack by an external aggressor. WORLD COMMUNISM ON THE MARCH There is, however, an all-powerful enemy marshalling its forces for an onslaught on western civilization, including Australia, whose openly declared ultimate goal is domination of our globe: Communism. Having been raised to the status of superpower by its accomplices in the West, the Soviet Union now commands the vastest arsenal of weapons and the greatest number of fighting men that have ever been amassed on earth. As the French Premier, Clémenpeau once said, ‘You can do many things with Continued on Page 2
