2 NÉMETH ÉVA H—1023 BUDAPEST Frankel Leo u. 74—76. 1930-ban született Budapesten. 1960- ban végezte az Iparművészeti Főiskolát. 1966 óta a CSABA Szőnyegszövő Háziipari Szövetkezet állandó tervezője. Faliképeket és szőnyegeket készít csomózott, ill. torontáli technikával, művei sorozatban készülnek. Rendszeresen szerepel idehaza a jelentős iparművészeti és népművészeti kiállításokon, és külföldön magyar, illetve nemzetközi tárlatokon. Részt vett a II. és III. Fal- és Tértextil Biennálén, Szombathelyen (1972 1974) és a Savaria Múzeum textilgyűjteményéből rendezett kiállításon, Grazban (1975). 1970-ben Budapesten, a Csók Galériában, 1973-ban az Iparművészeti Múzeumban (Művész az Iparban) volt önálló kiállítása. 1971- ben Munkácsy-díjat kapott. 1972- ben a II. Fal- és Tértextil Biennálén Univerzum c. kárpitjával elnyerte a Könnyűipari Minisztérium díját, 1974-ben, a III. Fal- és Tértextil Biennálén Sziget című gobelinje első díjat nyert. EVA NÉMETH H—1023 BUDAPEST Frankel Leo u. 74—76. Born in Budapest, 1930. Graduated from the Hungarian Academy of Applied Arts, Budapest, in 1960. Since 1966 she is the constant designer of the CSABA Carpet Weaving Homecraft Cooperative. She designs mainly wall and floor carpets of Kelim and handknotted technics, every piece is being made in series. Individual exhibitions: 1970: Csők Galéria, Budapest. 1973: Museum of Applied Arts, show entitled: „Artists in Industry”. Regular exhibitor in the major exhibitions of Applied Arts and Folk Art in Hungary, and in Hungarian as well as international shows abroad. Parteciped in the Second and Third Textile Biennale in Szombathely (1972, 74), and in the exhibition of the textile collection of the Savaria Museum in Graz (1975). Her work was awarded in 1971 by the Munkácsy prize. With the tapestry „Universe” she won the prize of the Ministry of Light Industry in the Second Textile Biennale, and with her gobelin „Island” won the first prize of the Third Textile Biennale in Szombathely.
