Munkahely: RÁBATEXT „LEONELL" Stúdió, Győri Textilipari Vállalat Textiles vénájú családból származom. így a textiltechnikum elvégzése természetes volt számomra. Az iskola elvégzése után kerültem a ,,Rábatext’’-be, az akkor alakuló gyártmányfejlesztési osztályra. Ma is ennél a vállalatnál dolgozom, a már azóta országszerte elismert „Leonell” stúdióban. Itt ismerkedtem meg igazán a textiltervezés minden örömével, bánatával. Főleg lakástextíliák (ágynemű, asztalnemű) tervezésével foglalkozom, de szívesen kalandozok a zsebkendők és divatszövetek világában is. Az elmúlt évek során már többször vettem részt az Ipari Textilművészeti Biennálékon, és lehetőség szerint pályázatokon. Csoportos munkával már értem el sikereket, de az igazi siker most szegődött először mellém. Az én műveim nem a kiállítótermek számára születtek. de szeretném, ha színeikkel, melegségükkel örömet és harmóniát sugároznának az emberek otthonaiban. So it was no wonder, that I went to the Technical College for Textile Industry. After completing my studies, I got to RÂBATEXT, to the Department of Product Development. that was established at that time. I am still working for this company, rigth now in its ’’Leonell" Studio. This studio is a real workshop; I have had here the chance to get acquainted with all pleasures and problems that textile design can offer. I mainly deal with designing domestic textiles (bedding and table textiles) but I like taking adventures into the design of handkerchiefs and fashion textiles, too. During the past few years I have often taken part in the Biennials of Industrial Textile Art, as well as in competitions, if it was possible for me. I have already achieved some success with some collectivey designed products, but the real success has only just joined me. My objects are not designed for exhibitions. Standard Prize for Form Design, awarded by the Ministry of In dustry Kispál Lászlóné textiltervező RÓZSA ANNA ALAPÍTVÁNY a kortárs magyar textilművészet támogatására Rózsa Anna textilművész emlékének ápolására, művészi hagyatékának, alkotói-emberi magatartásának széles körű megismertetése érdekében és csaknem négy évtizedet felölelő, a magyar textiltervezés, közelebbről a kéziszövés területén meghatározó munkássága iránt érzett elismerésének és személyes tiszteletének kifejezésére, ALWIN WIDMER úr svájci állampolgár, alapítványt létesített tízezer svájci frank összegben. Az Alapítvány célja Rózsa Anna életművének továbbéltetése, a szellemében születő kortárs textilművészeti tevékenységek elősegítése, támogatása nemzetközi elismertetése. Az Alapítvány kezelője a szombathelyi Savaria Múzeum. Ez a jelentős, modern textilgyűjteménnyel rendelkező múzeum lett ugyanis Rózsa Anna életművének otthona. Az Alapítvány évente Rózsa Anna-díjat ad ki, a célokkal egyező művek elismeréseként. A Rózsa Anna-díjat a SAVARIA Múzeum az általa rendezett Ipari-, illetve Fal- és Tértextil Biennálék meghirdetésével egy időben írja ki. A Rózsa Anna díjat az Alapítvány Bizottság ítéli oda. A d;j kifizetése devizában történik. Az Alapítvány Bizottság Rózsa Anna-díjban részesítheti : a) Páratlan években az Ipari Biennálén, azt a szövöttanyagtervezőt, aki nyüstös kézi vagy mechanikus gépen, kiemelkedő színvonalú darab- vagy méterárut, esetleg öltözködési cikket alkotott, amely egyúttal legjobban megközelíti Rózsa Anna szín és formavilágát. b) Páros években a Fal- és Tértextil biennálén kimagaslóan esztétikus (különös tekintettel a hagyományos gobelin vagy kékfestő technikával létrehozott) mű szerzőjét. A Rózsa Anna-díj a Biennálé díjával együtt ünnepélyes körülmények között kerül átadásra. A SAVARIA Múzeum a díjnyertes művészt a következő évre önálló kiállításra hívja meg. ANNA RÓZSA FOUNDATION tor the promotion of the contemporary Hungarian textile art To cherish the affection for the memory of the outstanding textile designer Anna Rózsa, to familiarize broader circles of the society with her artistic inheritage as well as creative and humane approach, and to express his personal appreciation and great regards for her life work, comprising almost four decades and determinant in the Hungarian textile design, especially in hand weaving, Mr ALWIN vVíDMER, Swiss citizen, has established a Foundation in a sum of 10,000 Swiss francs. The aim of the Foundation is to keep the of Anna Rózsa vivid, to promote, protect and help to an international recognition the contemporary artistic endeavours in textile design, inspired by her life work. The Savaria museum of Szombathely has been assigned as the trustee of the Foundation, as it disposes of a significant modern textile collevtion, and it gives home to the oeuvre of Anna Rózsa. The Anna Rózsa Prize is awarded annually by the Foundation, with the aim to appreciate artistic textile designs corresponding to the preset objectives. The Anna Rózsa Prize is announced simultaneously with the invitation to the Industrial Textile Artistic Biennial as well as to the Wall and Space Textile Biennial. The Anna Rózsa Prize is avarded by the Committee of the Fundation. The sum of the award is paid in foreign currency. The Anna Rózsa Prize may be awarded by the Foundation Committee to: a) a woven textile designer (in odd numbered years- at the Industrial Textile Artistic Biennial) creating his competitive design either by manual or mechanical means. The design should be of outstanding artistic quality, representing goods either sold by the metre or by the piece. It should also resemble the colour and pattern system chacteristic for Anna Rózsa. b) a designer (in even numbered years — simultaneously with the Wall and Space Textile Biennial) creating a work of high aesthetic quality (with special emphasis on artistic design based ot the traditional technologies of gobelin or blue dyeing. The Anna Rózsa Prize is awarded simultaneously with the Brennial Prize, with all solemnity. The Savaria Museum invites the prize winner designer to an individual exhibition to be held in the following year.
