♦ I was born in 1951 in Tiszakarád, a small village between the rivers Tisza and Bodrog. I studied art in Sárospatak and Szeged. I took part in art courses at the Free School in Zebegény, and in the activities of artcamps both at home and abroad. My first master was the artist, Zoltán Debreczeni, but at first the art of Ferenc Hézső also influenced me. I participated in study tours to Germany, Austria, Slowakia and Poland. Among the different art styles. I stand closest to a kind of symbolic and lyrical abstract direction. I am a member of the foundation of the Hungarian Republic for Art, as well as secretary of the “István Nagy Group” for forming and industrial arts and director of the Galéry in Cegléd. Muralia: 1992. “SCENES OF KARÁD” My works can be found in Hungarian as well as foreign public and private collections: Kazinczy Museum in Sátoraljaújhely “István Szőnyi” Museum in Zebegény, Pest country’s self-government in Budapest, School Galéry in Nagykőrös, Colleciton of the town Tiszakécske, Colleciton of the town Rozsnyó, Italy, Greece, Romania, Slowakia, USA, Germany, Austria, Holland, Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark, Canada. Je suis né dans le village de Tiszakarád en 1951. J’ai fait mes études artistiques á Sárospatak et á Szeged. J’ai participé aux cours de ľ Ecole Libre de Zebegény et j’ai travaillé plusieurs fois sur des colonies de peintres en Hongrie et á ľétranger. Mon premier maitre était Zoltán Debreczeni, mais au début le peintre Ferenc Hézső avait exercé, lui aussi, une grande influence sur moi. J’ai fait des voyages ďétudes en Allentagne, en Autriche, en Slowakie et en Pologne. C’est le symbolisme et la tendance lyrique-abstraite qui sont mes styles favoris dans la peinture. Je suis membre du fonds Artistique de la République Hongroise, secretaire du Groupe de Beaux-Arts et d’Arts Décoratifs István Nagy, et je suis chef de la Galerie de Cegléd. 1992.
