Regionális Kisplasztikai Tárlat (Zalaegerszeg, 1994)
Vorwort Im Namen der Stadt Zalaegerszeg begrüsse ich die ausstellenden Künstler der I. Regionalen Kleinplastikausstellung, die ungarischen und ausländischen Kunstschaffenden, die Interessenten und Besucher. Eine neue Initiative bricht auf. Mit der von dem Städtischen Konzert- und Ausstellungssaal und dem Göcsejer Museum organisierten Ausstellung möchten wir die Initiative ergreifen und gleichzeitig eine Tradition schaffen. Wir möchten keine einmalige und unwiederholbare Aktion, sondern eine alle 3 Jahre stattfindende Vorstellung und ein sich wiederholendes Treffen. Eine Möglichkeit den heimischen Künstlern und den Kunstschaffenden der näheren Länder, Slowenen, Kroaten, Österreichern anbieten, einander kennenzulernen und mit ihren Werken einander zu inspirieren. Die Stadt Zalaegerszeg, die Selbstverwaltungen der Bezirke Somogy, Vas, Veszprém und Zala sowie das Lektorat für bildende Kunst und Kunsthandwerk unterstützen deshalb den Gedanken und die Verwirklichung des regionalen Künstlertreffens. Die 43 Künstler treten mit je 3 Kunstwerken in der Ausstellung auf. Die Kunstwerke, von der Münze bis zur kleinen Skulptur, stellen alle möglichen Formen und Techniken der Kunstart dar. Ich wünsche, dass sowohl der Besucher als auch der Aussteller mit dem Erlebnis und Niveau der neuen Initiative zufrieden seien. Zalaegerszeg, den 8. Juli 1994. Imre Bogár Bürgermeister Preface On behalf of the municipality of Zalaegerszeg, I am honoured to welcome the participants of the I. Regional Small Sculpture Exhibition, the Hungarian and foreign artists, the visitors and any person showing an interest. A new-type initation is being introduced. With the exhibition arranged by the Town Concert and Exhibition Hall and by the Göcsej Museum, we should like to make initation and to create a tradition as well. This will not mean a single exhibition; on the contrary, it will be a recurrent introduction and meeting arranged time after time, every third year. We should like to provide an opportunity for the Hungarian artists and for the artists living in the neighbouring countries: Slovenians, Croatians and Austrians to get acquainted with and to give inspiration to one another through their works of art. With this in view, the municipality of Zalaegerszeg, the local authorities of Somogy, Vas, Veszprém and Zala counties; and the Institution of Applied and Fine Arts support the idea and realization of a regional arts-meeting. Forty-three artists participate in the exhibition, exhibiting three works of art each. The works of art ranging from medals to statues represent almost all the possible forms and techniques of small sculpture.
