Somogyi György (Szeged, 1997)
Született 1946-ban, Karcagon. A Szegedi Tanárképző Főiskola után a Budapesti Képzőművészeti Főiskola Tanárképző tagozatán végezte művészeti tanulmányait. 1970-1994 között a Nagy István Csoport tagja, melynek kiállításain több díjat nyert. 1982 óta a szigetszentmiklósi INSULA Csoport vezetője. 1987 óta tagja a Művészeti Alapnak (MAOE). 1992 óta tagja a Magyar Képző-és Iparművészek Szövetségének. 1992-től alapító tagja az X-ART Egyesületnek és 1995-től a Patak Csoportnak. 1995 óta tagja a Magyar Festők Társaságának. 1995- ben, közreműködésével létrejön a Baktay Ervin Gimnázium (Dunaharaszti) Kortárs Galériája. He was bom in 1946 in Karcag. After the Theacher Training School of Szeged he graduated from the Faculty of Art at the Teacher Training School of Budapest. He is a member of the István Nagy Group between 1970- 1994 at which exhibitions the won a many prizes. He is the leader of the ISULA Group of Szigetszentmiklós since 1982. He is the member of the Art Foundation since 1987. He is the member of the Association of Hungarian Creative and Applied artists.
