Christian Artist Seminar (Rotterdam, 2003)

Participants-profile CA-2003 is for everybody who is considering a career in any art-form or is studying music or one of the other arts. It is for everybody who seeks answers, for upcoming talented youth, for new leaders. It provides the best help that mature leadership can give to the new wave of young artists want­ing to learn, study, be challenged, enjoy the arts and have a great week of inspiration and transformation. If you want to perform and to be in the spotlight, you will face many challenges and problems. How do you survive burn-out, fame, dry periods, loneliness, money problems, jealousy and pride? What is the right balance between ambition and trust? Mature lead­ers will share their insights and their experiences, attempting to serve as a model and as a challenge. Leadership: Rev. Pastors, leaders, elders Many church-leaders have questions about creativity, the role of the arts in church-life, new forms of praise & worship, and so much more. At CA you can ask all your questions. At CA you can get hear advice from experts in all the art-forms. CA really contributes to the life of a church, because a creative church is a growing church. Special meetings for leadership. Structure 5 days of learning and inspiration. You will listen each day to outstanding teachers explain what is happening in society and how it effects you. They will talk about your position as a Christian artist in this changing world: bringing forth hope and possibilities. After being challenged in your thinking, you can visit arts-meetings (workshops) or you can go to discussion-groups. In the afternoon, you can attend more workshops, talent evaluation, personal encounters. And during the week, 100 leading artists, groups and bands will perform, dance, exhibit, teach, etc. Meeting and learning from these profes­sionals is a unique chance for young, upcoming talent as well as established, creative people. CA has been and will continue to be a special international place. You are invited to join with us to face the challenges ahead.
