Idősivatag A homok mint anyag, nem a különlegesség keresése munkásságomban, sokkal inkább metafizikus szemléletem kifejezője, térről és időről alkotott fogalmaim metaforája. A homoktól idegen a tárgyak racionalitása, kifolyik az ember ujjai közül, szétomlik és finom porként mindent betemet... akár az idősivatag, melynek mindent elnyelő másodperc-szemcséi alatt félig vagy teljesen befedve ős-képek, képzetek lenyomatai szunnyadnak. A meditáló emberben felszakadnak a tér- és időbeli korlátok, hogy újra találkozzon valódi énjével, kozmikus önmagával és így kísérletet tehessen a való forma mögötti örökkévalóság megidézésére és átélésére. „Az idő a meditáció tere" (Shunryu Suzuki) A nyugati gondolkodás szikár racionalizmusa csak a dolgok egyik oldalát világítja meg. A másik az irracionalizmus homálya, mely ezer veszélyt rejtő birodalmába hívogatja a szellem vándorait. Az önmagába néző és ott kozmikus tér- és időbeli távlatokat felfedező ember központja érdeklődésemnek. Time-desert The sand as a material in my work is not the search of the speciality, it is much rather the expression of my metaphisical views, the metaphor of the formation of my concepts on place and time. The nationalism of objects is strange to sand, it runs out of the man's fingers, crumbles away and it - as fine powder- covers everything... like time-desert, where marks of partly or entirely covered ancient-views and ideas are slumbering under all absorbing second-grains. In meditating man the restrictions in time and place are splitting in order to meet again his real himself, his cosmic himself and thus to make an attempt for appearance and feeling the eternity behind the real form. 'The time is the field of meditation' (Shunryu Suzuki) The lean racionalism of the western way of thinking illuminates only one side of the things. The other side is the mistery of irracionalism, which keeps inviting the wanderers of spirit into its empire in which a great amount of danger are hidden. The heart of my interest is the man who looks into himself and who can discern the cosmic place and time perspectives there. 2
