Between 1st October 1913 and 15lh June 1914 the Első Magyar Hanglemezgyár rt. published the Magyar hanglemez újság. Magyar beszélőgép- és hanglemez ipari és kereskedelmi szakközlöny. The publisher was the company’s secretary József Jacobovics (Jacobovits), the editor-in-chief Antal Greiner. The new Turul, Riadó, Hunnia, Phönix labels was registered in spring 1914. On 7,h September 1915 liquidation proceedings were started as a result of the seriously declining economic circumstances created by World War I. They lasted until 22ni April 1925. In gramophone record collectors’ circles the Első Magyar Hanglemezgyár has become almost mythical. Its history was covered in detail by Géza Gábor Simon in Ujjé, a Ligetben nagyszerű. A CD of Budapest recordings titled Az Első Magyar Hanglemezgyár budapesti felvételeiből 1908-1913. was published in 2002 (Pannon Archiv PA 6666) with its detailed accompanying booklet describing the company’s history (Az Első Magyar Hanglemezgyár vázlatos története).
