URGONIAN SEQUENCE meter thickness and of varied structure of the Villány imbrication bauxitic clay is found (Császár, G., Farkas, L., 1982). In this paper some results on the unique sequence of the Nagyharsány quarry belonging to the latter imbri­cation will be reported first of all from paleoenvironmental and sedimento­­logical points of view.
